The clip is uncomfortable to watch and gives the impression that Ronaldo may not respect Fernandes, albeit it is unclear what Fernandes was saying and Ronaldo and Silva’s reactions may have had nothing to do with the United captain.

The Manchester United star was at his best for Portugal, scoring a goal early in the first half to put the team on the board.

Martinez and his team capped off a strong qualification campaign with an additional goal from Ricardo Horta, a striker for Braga, in the middle of the second session. Bruno had already scored before.

In Germany, Portugal is a heavy favorite to win the trophy, so the tunnel incident probably won’t dampen their spirits.

United have a challenging schedule ahead of them, so Bruno will be hoping to carry his strong play from the international stage to the club level.
