A Real Madrid senior isn’t sure if he’ll stay with the team after this season

Kroos’ future at Real Madrid hinges entirely on his personal determination, as his relationship with club president Florentino Perez is unparalleled

Toni Kroos, a midfielder for Real Madrid, is becoming more and more concerned about his future after this season. Sergio Santos  writes that this is because he wants to leave, but it’s also because he has been hurt a lot in the last few seasons.

The 34-year-old German international is still an important part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plan, and even though he started the current season as a substitute, his value has been felt again since Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni got hurt.

What’s next for Toni Kroos?

If Kroos wants to stay at Real Madrid, he has to work hard, because his bond with club president Florentino Perez is unmatched.

A long time ago, he told the president that the moment he said goodbye to Real Madrid would be the last game of his career.

Additionally, after Germany was eliminated from Euro 2021, the midfielder chose to end his international career in order to focus on Real Madrid. This was done so that he could focus on his health during international breaks.

What does he think?

His main goal is not to keep playing for longer than is necessary, but to retire at a time when his love for the sport and value to it are recognized.

But he still has trouble with an ιnjury he got during the 2021-22 season, and the strain on his hamstrings gets worse when he plays for long periods of time.

Like last season, Kroos doesn’t want to make a hasty choice. So, a choice will be made based on how his role will change as the season’s next games play out.

Kroos keeps saying that he is sure he can leave the club whenever he wants. There is new talk in the club, though, that they might need to try to convince him again to put off making the choice to end his career with Real Madrid.
