Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, may be looking to replace Thiago Silva (Image: GETTY)Tah, who is 6 feet 5 inches tall, joined Leverkusen from Hamburger in 2015 and has since made 324 appearances for the team. He may be exactly the man Pochettino is searching for as the Argentine looks to sign someone who can equal Silva’s production over the past three years. He is a physically strong player who exudes confidence in possession.
Pau Cubarsi
Pau Cubarsi, a 16-year-old Barcelona defender, has also been linked to Chelsea. The youthful sensation looks to have a bright future at the top of the game after making eight appearances for his club’s reserve squad, Barcelona Atletic, in the Spanish third tier. Sport claims that Chelsea is in the lead in the race to sign Cubarsi, and because of a release provision in his contract, they may be able to pay between £8.7 million and £13.1 million for him.

Aymeric Laporte
Chelsea may focus on former Manchester City player Aymeric Laporte if they’re searching for a center defender with a ton of Premier League experience. The 29-year-old departed the club in the summer to join Saudi Arabian powerhouse Al-Nassr, despite winning five Premier League titles and the Champions League during his tenure at the Etihad Stadium. Laporte may need some persuasion to return to England given his enormous pay in the Middle East. Moving to Stamford Bridge, though, would be appealing if the Spaniard is still eager to prove his mettle at the greatest level of the game.
Marc Guehi
In recent years, Chelsea has made a lot of mistakes in the transfer market. However, few have cost them as much as their choice to permit Marc Guehi to sign with Crystal Palace in the summer of 2021 after leaving Stamford Bridge. Since joining the Eagles, the 23-year-old has earned nine caps for his native England and has developed into one of the best center backs in the Premier League. In the hopes that he would contemplate going back to where it all began, the Blues could then approach the player with their tails between their legs.
