Showbiz power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z hosted a grand celebration at the Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte near Bordeaux, inspired by King Charles, as the rapper marked his 54th birthday.

 

The extravagant event, set in the vineyards, saw the attendance of A-list guests, including Rihanna and Kris Jenner, who jetted to France for the VIP reception.

 

Maintaining an air of exclusivity, the reception had a strict no-photo policy. Following the festivities, the VIP guests were treated to an evening at Bordeaux’s luxurious 5-star Les Sources de Caudalie Hotel, personally rented by Beyonce for the occasion. The hotel boasts opulent amenities such as a spa, private vineyards, and regal rooms adorned with chandeliers.

 

This star-studded celebration follows King Charles and Queen Camilla’s recent visit to the same castle, marking part of their diplomatic efforts in France. Beyonce and Jay-Z’s trip to France comes shortly after their visit to London for the premiere of Beyonce’s Renaissance film, where they maintained a low profile but were spotted entering the private members club Oswald’s in Mayfair.

 

The celebrity couple’s European adventures also included a guest appearance by Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise and The Witcher’s Henry Cavill. Beyonce’s Renaissance film provided a rare glimpse into her glamorous life, with revelations about her attempts to discourage her daughter Blue Ivy, who is accompanying them on their European journey, from joining her on the sold-out stadium tour.
