Christian Kouamé, a striker for Fiorentina, has posted pictures of his injuries on social media following Romelu Lukaku’s horrific tackle that resulted in the Roma player receiving a red card on Sunday.

At minute 87 of Roma’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina on Sunday, Lukaku was sent for a careless tackle on Koaumé, the striker for Fiorentina.

José Mourinho, who didn’t talk to the media following the match and posted a remark on Instagram on Monday, was incensed by the referee’s ruling. When referee Antonio Rapuano gave Lukaku a straight red card, Mourinho grinned.

However, Rapuano’s verdict was deemed genuine by Italian newspapers on Monday, and Kouamé shared the scars from Lukaku’s challenge on Instagram.

The Ivory Coast international also added “thank god,” perhaps implying that his left leg might have suffered more damage from the Belgian striker’s tackle.
