According to recent reports, Nigerian energy magnate Kola Aluko is reportedly the owner of the ultra-luxurious yacht Galactica Star, which Jay Z and Beyoncé recently chartered for a vacation.

This opulent yacht boasts a length of 65 meters, a price tag of £50 million (€65 million, $73 million), and the capability to reach speeds of up to 28 knots (32 mph) under favorable conditions. Its innovative hull construction contributes to exceptional fuel efficiency, requiring up to thirty percent less power than similar-sized boats to maintain the same speed.

Featuring a full-beam master bedroom, an upper-deck VIP cabin, and four additional double cabins, the Galactica Star can accommodate up to 12 people at a time. The yacht also includes a “beach club” with a helipad, a 10-square-meter balcony, and ample space for entertaining guests.

Speculations suggest the yacht may be chartered for $900,000 a week (or £580,000), but in reality, access is much more exclusive—you must be acquainted with the owner to stay on the yacht.

The Galactica Star, introduced in 2014, received a Neptune Trophy at an event known as “the Oscars of the super-yacht industry.” The interior, designed by Bannenberg and Rowell Design, renowned names in yacht design, complements the sleek, metallic appearance of the hull.
