Antoine Griezmann has announced the signing of a 20-year-old player from Liverpool on Football Manager

Griezmann is well-known for his devotion to the video game in which players assume the role of a manager and oversee a virtual squad.

The 32-year-old has shocked many by admitting that he has started a career on this year’s edition, when questioned by ESPN if he had.

“Indeed, [he is overseeing] Blackburn. My current Premier League position is sixth. Griezmann made it clear that the board was pleased with the decision to prolong his contract.

The France international made a remark that would undoubtedly spark some ribbing at the AXA Training Centre when asked about the players he has brought to Ewood Park through the transfer market.

It was a young right-back who had been with Liverpool, Griezmann said. “I’ll have to look up his nаme; he’s Scottish!”

The signing of Ramsay brings Griezmann joy.

Naturally, we’re talking about Calvin Ramsay, a young full-back for Liverpool.

You have to give Griezmann a pass for completely losing track of the 20-year-old’s identity. Even though he signed with the Reds 18 months ago, Ramsay has been mostly absent.

The Scotland international has had a terrible second year due to injuries, and things aren’t looking up either.

Ramsay has made just two appearances for Preston North End this 2023–24 season despite joining the club on loan at the beginning of the year.

The right back’s debut didn’t happen until November due to an ιnjury he had at the beginning of the season.

Despite being fit again, Ramsay is still not in the running to join Ryan Lowe’s play-off squad. His sole start thus far was on the 1st of this month, which was also his most recent outing.

But you can’t rule out the former Aberdeen defender just yet. He has the potential to excel for Liverpool, and he is still very young. Whether Ramsay is able to finally rest from his ailments will be the deciding factor. I really hope he can.

Regarding Griezmann, he has been Atletico Madrid’s shining star this year. The 32-year-old World Cup winner is still a joy to watch play soccer. It would be a little victory for Ramsay and, one can only hope, a confidence boost if word got out.
