Real Madrid is missing six players for their match against Villarreal.

Real Madrid will be without six players for their La Liga match against Villarreal on Sunday, but Aurelien Tchouameni’s return to the team is a huge ιnjury boost.

Tchouameni hasn’t played for Real Madrid since the end of October, when he broke his foot in a La Liga game against Barcelona.

At first, the 23-year-old wasn’t supposed to be back until after the winter break. But he healed quickly and started training again last week.

Tchouameni is back in the team for the game against Villarreal. He will likely start on the bench but could play at some point in the second half.

Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois are still out for a long time because of major knee injuries they got in August, but they should both be back before the end of the season.

Dani Carvajal is also still out because of an ιnjury to his calf. Vinicius Junior (thigh), Eduardo Camavinga (knee), and Arda Guler (muscle) are also still not available for selection.

It’s up to head coach Carlo Ancelotti to choose between Kepa Arrizabalaga and Andriy Lunin to play between the posts.

Real Madrid is currently in second place in La Liga, two points behind winners Girona. However, the capital team could go back to the top of the table if they bєat Villarreal on Sunday night.
