United escape the ghσsts of last season’s humiliating Anfield loss with a draw against Liverpool, thanks in large part to Erik ten Hag’s spot-on decisions in the box.

After a tҺrilling match at Anfield, Manchester United kept Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool from taking over the Premier League lead with a goalless draw.

The visitors held strong to move into seventh position in a game with little chances. Diogo Dalot was sent off in stoppage time for two quick yellow cards.

A number of players stood out, with Raphael Varane and Diogo Dalot causing problems for the home team, while Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai performing below par.

Chelsea (4-3-3)

The Alisson score is 6.5.

Had little to do until United’s first chance on goal in the 67th minute, but he remained firm to block a close-range effort from Hojlund. Brazilian goalkeeper for Liverpool does a good job with the ball and passing it about.

This is Trent Alexander-7.5 Arnold’s

He came agonizingly close to scoring for Liverpool after 66 minutes with a shot that went horribly wide of the post. However, Alexander-Arnold really came into his own at the 55-minute mark with a sensational tackle that nearly stole the ball from Garnacho’s feet.

Konate Ibrahima – 6.5

To a large extent, he silenced Hojlund and company while distributing the ball well. As the Englishman shambled forward, you did well to cover Alexander-Arnold as well. With Joel Matip out for the season, Konate, who is prone to injuries, will have a big season.

Van Dijk’s Virgil — six

The Liverpool captain had a dominant performance, limiting United’s space on the field. The Dutchman dominated United’s strikers and denied Hojlund any opportunity as Ten Hag’s team sought to score through long passes.

Tsimikas Kostas – 6.5

Despite Antony’s repeated attempts to get past him, he managed to get forward and keep Antony silent. After Andy Robertson’s shoulder dislocation, Liverpool were worried, but Tsimikas has put their fears to rest by hardly giving the ball away.

You have booked Wataru Endo’s 5.5.

Occasionally careless with the ball and failed to make an impression on the game. United executed a well-executed cоunterattack after breаking up play.

No. 5: Dominik Szoboszlai

Was Liverpool’s brightest star early in the season, but the Hungarian skipper has cooled off as of late. In the beginning, Szoboszlai made a couple careless touches and passes that went wide.

Six points for Ryan Gravenberch

Had a strong burst of speed and slid past United’s midfield on occasion. Played a minor role in this game.

Salah, Mohamed — 7

Had the best chance to score for Liverpool, but Salah just couldn’t find the back of the net today. Only managed to get a couple of shots on goal, all of which went straight into Onana’s glad hands.

Darwin Nunez has 5 spots reserved.

Was cautioned for spitting at the referee after a bad tackle on Evans in the first minute. Nunez, who has scored just once in the league since September, had a disappointing performance overall. A number of passes went astray, and we also gave the ball away too readily.

Luis Diaz — six

their primary threаt in the first half, which diminished as the game progressed. Onana denied him Liverpool’s greatest opportunity. Still hasn’t regained the lofty goals he established at the beginning of the season.

Various options

Six points from Cody Gakpo (as Gravenberch 61)

Joe Gomez had six points for Szoboszlai 61.

Jones, Curtis (in place of Diaz 77)

For Nunez 77, Harvey Elliott

Jurgen Klopp, manager – 6.

Will be quite irritated because his team was unable to defeat a tenacious United squad. Klopp changed his tactics multiple times and introduced four new attackers, but none of his alterations had any discernible effect on the outcome of the match.

Replacements not used: Caoimhin Kelleher, Conor Bradley, Jarell Quansah, James McConnell, and Adrian.

[4-2-3-1) Manchester United

Scored 7.5 for Andre Onana

Despite a few missteps, it’s impossible not to root for Onana, especially because so many had written him off. He calmly kept the peace as his delivery improved, nearly setting up Antony for a goal-scoring opportunity, and made a number of superb stops to deny Salah, Konate, and Diaz.

No. 8 (SENT OFF): Diogo Dalot

Although it seems strange to award player of the match honors to a player sent off, United’s full-back put up a commanding performance to silence Diaz in that half. Completed multiple game-saving interceptions and only just lost possession on one occasion.

A 7.5 from Raphael Varane

As Varane made his Premier League return since September, he ensured that Nunez had little chance of scoring. The Frenchman, who displayed his experience and aerial mastery, appears to be hiding behind a rift with the manager.

No. 7: Jonny Evans

The passing was lacking, but Evans maintains the strange record of never having lost this match. Managed to stay up with Salah’s late cоunterattack because to his impressive speed for his age.

Luke Shaw – 7 (SET TIME)

Shaw ended what was essentially a draw after Salah nearly had the England international pinned. Attempted to halt a cоunterattack with a poor tackle in the dying minutes; nonetheless, some could аrgue that it shown good expertise.

Score: 7 (BOOKED) for Kobbie Mainoo

For United, should start every game if healthy. Has excellent energy in the middle of the field to disrupt play, is composed when on the ball, and constantly tries to advance the game by passing forward. His potential for the England team may have been enhanced with additional time.

Score: 6.5 (BOOKED) for Sofyan Amrabat

Another player who has come under fire since joining Old Trafford in the summer, the Moroccan played well in the middle of the field today.

Patrick – 6.5

With a little more finished product in Antony’s locker, United would have won this match. The Brazilian had several good scoring opportunities, but he was unable to complete any of them. However, I put in some solid defensive work and bought a couple fouls to relieve pressure.

No. 6.5: Scott McTominay

As United gave up a lot of possession, the Scotsman was a lynchpin of energy in the middle of the field, but he contributed little to the аttаck. Near the conclusion of the game, I had a good opportunity to score, but I sent my shot right at Alisson.

Sergio Garnacho – 6

Possibly let his teammates down because they had trouble finding him while offering a left-handed outlet. Contributed defensively in his battles with Salah and Alexander-Arnold.

6-Rasmus Hojlund

Hojlund has yet to score in the Premier League despite having four first-half touches. The Dane had a great opportunity in the 67th minute, but his effort went straight at Alisson’s chest despite some excellent link-up play throughout the game.
