Goalkeeper & Defence
- Alisson Becker (6/10): A spectator for much of the game, Alisson made a crucial save to deny Hojlund in the second half.
- Trent Alexander-Arnold (7/10): Actively pushed Liverpool forward from the right and midfield, narrowly missing the target on a couple of occasions.
- Ibrahima Konate (5/10): Solid defensively but slowed the game down in possession, and his passes lacked pace. Missed a couple of chances at the other end.
- Virgil van Dijk (6/10): Impenetrable at the back, making key challenges and denied by Onana with a first-half header.
- Kostas Tsimikas (7/10): Impressive defensive work against Antony and delivered fine crosses that went uncapitalized.
Midfield
- Wataru Endo (4/10): Combative in midfield but lacked creativity in advancing the ball, serving as a solid backup without providing a genuine replacement for Mac Allister.
- Dominik Szoboszlai (3/10): A shadow of his early-season form, misplaced key passes, and was substituted after an hour.
- Ryan Gravenberch (6/10): Hardworking, especially off the ball, and sought to drive Liverpool forward. Forced off with an apparent injury in the second half.
Attack
- Mohamed Salah (4/10): Struggled to combine effectively, misplacing passes, and showing a heavy touch. Took desperate shots from long range.
- Darwin Nunez (3/10): Continued his goal drought, struggled against Varane and Evans, frequently straying offside, and missed a key opportunity.
- Luis Diaz (6/10): Looked dangerous when dribbling at Dalot but had too few opportunities from a Liverpool perspective.
