Reportedly, the Saudi Pro League has extended an offer to Manchester United player Casemiro.

Casemiro became an integral part of Erik ten Hag’s squad soon after joining from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022.

The Saudi Arabian national team is eager to continue elevating the status of its domestic league in the next January transfer window, following their successful summer acquisition of prominent players from Europe.

About eighteen months ago, Manchester United paid Real Madrid €70 million (£60.4 million) to acquire Casemiro. If he were to leave, United would seek to recover some of that money.

Reports have indicated that Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr are interested in Casemiro, an experienced midfielder, although it is presently unknown how many clubs have made bids for him.

It has been reported that John Murtough, the football director at Manchester United, travelled to Saudi Arabia earlier this month to discuss possible January transfer targets.
