Gal Gadot, the talented actress behind the iconic superhero Wonder Woman, was seen on set in Washington, D.C., showcasing her aerial prowess while filming ambitious stunt sequences for the highly anticipated sequel, “Wonder Woman 1984.”

To ensure the utmost safety during the daring scenes, Gal, 33, was securely fastened into a safety harness before being lifted into the air in front of a fleet of cars. The actress, donning the iconic Wonder Woman outfit, gracefully glided alongside the vehicles, fully committed to her performance for the cameras.

While Gal fearlessly performed many of her own stunts, a skilled stunt double, who sported a wig to resemble Gal’s appearance, was enlisted for the more daring maneuvers in front of the Capitol, including soaring to great heights.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, who helmed the successful 2017 blockbuster hit, “Wonder Woman,” the sequel is set in 1984 against the backdrop of the Cold War. Gal Gadot reprises her role as the Amazonian warrior, facing off against a formidable new adversary, The Cheetah, portrayed by Kristen Wiig. The film also welcomes Pedro Pascal to the cast, while Chris Pine returns to reprise his role as Steve Trevor.

Filming for “Wonder Woman 1984” will span various locations, including Washington, D.C., Alexandria, Virginia, the UK, Spain, and the Canary Islands, promising a visually stunning cinematic experience.

Fans eagerly await the release of the highly anticipated sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters in November of next year. In the meantime, discussions have taken place between director Patty Jenkins and actress Lynda Carter, who portrayed Wonder Woman in the original TV series, about the possibility of a cameo appearance in the sequel.

As the filming progresses, Gal Gadot continues to embody the spirit of Wonder Woman, captivating audiences with her extraordinary portrayal of the beloved superhero.
