Harry Redknapp claims that Liverpool possess a midfielder who is transferable to any Premier League club.

Last night, Jones was the Reds’ showstopper. He deservedly won Man of the Match honors for his two goals in the 5-1 thrashing of West Ham United.

There was a lot of acclaim for the 22-year-old following the game. Cody Gakpo delivered a unique message for his teammate Curtis, and Jamie Carragher said that Curtis had earned a spot in Arsenal’s starting lineup for Saturday’s game.

But that was far from the end. Redknapp added his two cents while commentating on the Carabao Cup match for Sky Sports.

“He could walk in and play regularly for almost any Premier League team,” the ex-Tottenham Hotspur coach remarked of Jones.

But it’s clear he’s keen on staying put and establishing himself at Liverpool. It appears like he will break in at some point soon. It would be a shame for him to sit this one out.

The credit goes to Jones.

The praise from last night should have gone to Jones. The academy product had a huge game against a West Ham midfield that looked difficult with Tomas Soucek and Edson Alvarez.

Curt was the embodiment of a fantastic evening at Anfield with two goals, however he was by no means the only Liverpool player to appear revitalized.

We must not, however, become overly enthusiastic.

Jurgen Klopp somewhat reminded Jones of the reasons he might have been benched more frequently than he has been on it this season.

After the game, Klopp praised his No. 17 player, but he did concede that Jones needs to improve his speed while receiving the ball.

The manager’s point is very clear to any Liverpool fan who pays attention to his remarks.

On days like yesterday, Jones gives the impression that he could step in as the midfielder the Reds need. However, he frequently follows that with an underwhelming performance.

Curtis has the potential to become an integral part of Liverpool’s future success if he can achieve that level of consistency in his play. He is Һell-bent on making it happen for himself because, as Redknapp says, he adores the club. You can’t put money on him not doing it after last night.
