United lose to West Ham, but Willy Kambwala has a great game

In Saturday’s 2-0 Premier League loss to West Ham United, Willy Kambwala, a graduate of Manchester United, made an encouraging debut for the first team.

In the absence of Raphael Varane, who was unable to play due to sickness, the 19-year-old was an unexpecteԀ starter in central defense alongside Jonny Evans.

With a daring run forward, the kid got off to a strong start and eventually found his groove. He appeared at ease with the ball in his court.

The teenager got 92 touches and completed 75 of his 89 passes in the 84-minute match. He made three successful clearances and delivered two long balls.

We think that the 6’4″ ace should be starting again for manager Erik ten Hag because he was not to blame for either of the goals conceded.

There is no time for United to dwell on the outcome. Boxing Day will find them in action again, this time against third-place Aston Villa in the league.

The Red Devils will be up against Unai Emery’s squad at Old Trafford, and they have gone more than six hours without scoring. This terrible streak must end.

It would have been great if Alejandro Garnacho had scored the opening goal earlier today at the London Stadium; the team needs to be more clinical when shooting.

The top four teams are eight points ahead, so a victory in Tuesday’s game seems inevitable. Ten Hag’s future may be called into question if another unfavorable outcome were to occur.

If Varane is not considered fit to play against Villa, Kambwala might return to the starting lineup. The Frenchman’s return to the lineup is something the supporters are longing for.
