Latest Updates on Production Rumors for AVENGERS 5 and SPIDER-MAN 4

Following his ᴄᴏɴᴠɪᴄᴛɪᴏɴ on two of the counts brought against him, Marvel Studios formally fired Jonathan Majors from his position as Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe last week. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty on two counts of intentional third-degree аssаult and aggravated second-degree ʜᴀʀᴀssᴍᴇɴᴛ but found the Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star guilty on two misdemeanor counts of harassment and аssаult.

As soon as the news of Majors’ conviction emerged, we learned that Marvel and Disney had cut all connections with him. This would appear to imply that they were awaiting the outcome before taking any action. Regardless of the trial’s verdict, several insiders contend that the studio never intended to proceed with Majors in the role of Kang.

In any case, the project is currently known internally as “Avengers 5” and the Kang Dynasty subtitle has been removed (which is not surprising). It’s unclear how much the present tale will change, but it sounds like there has been a big delay in production.

Daniel Richtman claims that although production was originally supposed to begin in March, it will now begin in late 2019 instead. The scooper has heard that the filming of Spider-Man 4 won’t begin until 2025.

Although we don’t know much more about it, Tom Holland and Zendaya are rumored to have signed on for the as-yet-untitled No Way Home sequel. Online rumors have been circulating, but since the film doesn’t even have a script yet, we wouldn’t place too much weight in them.

This may be Holland’s last appearance as the wall-crawler, but he will most likely return. The actor expressed in a recent interview that he believes he has grown too accustomed to Spider-Man’s “safety blanket.”

Spider-Man 4: Release, Cast & Everything We Know | The Direct

“I want to take on challenges and uncomfortable situations. You have to be able to tolerate discomfort when you work with us. This show is the ideal illustration of that. Ben keeps reminding me that people won’t believe you if you don’t make a commitment. I was hesitant to commit because I was terrifieԀ. This is something I have never done before. I became accustomed to the Marvel machine and Spider-Man’s protective shell, believing that I was safe. Thus, undertaking something of this nature was both immensely gratifying and rewarding whilst being extremely frightening. In the future, I want to do the thing that I feel is beyond my capabilities. That’s my life, so I don’t want to play this kind of dumb English idiot, is I?”
