Chelsea put Ousmane Diomande in their sights
Diomande only arrived at Sporting Lisbon in January this year for a transfer fee of 7.5 million euros. His rapid growth has helped him receive interest from big teams. According to A Bola, Chelsea’s representative is contacting Sporting in hopes of obtaining the midfielder’s signature in January 2024.
Diomande’s goal is to reach the Premier League, a common dream of young African players. Chelsea agreed to spend 25 to 30 million euros for Diomande’s signature, to increase the likelihood of success of the deal they agreed to let this young midfielder play for the Portuguese team until the end of this season.
