Mason Greenwood received for dissent in an effort to keep him from serving a punishment

The La Liga club Getafe is appealing the red card that Man Utd loanee Mason Greenwood received for dissent in an effort to keep him from serving a punishment.

Getafe has decided to appeal Mason Greenwood’s red card in the hopes of keeping him from serving a ban.

On Tuesday, Greenwood was sent off for dissent in the 50th minute of his team’s La Liga encounter against Rayo Vallecano. Allegedly, the assailant yelled out “f*ck you” to the referee; however, the official’s account to the Spanish league contrasted from Greenwood’s account of the occurrence.

According to Marca, Getafe have appealed the decision and are hoping to hear back soon so they can determine the severity of his sentence. But he isn’t the only one from Getafe in trouble; Damian Suarez and Juanmi Latasa were all sent off in the same match, while Jaime Mata received his fifth yellow card of the season in addition to a suspension.

Since joining Getafe on loan from Manchester United, Greenwood has been an outstanding player, contributing to the team’s success in La Liga with three goals scored and four assists in fifteen matches played. According to reports, the Madrid club reportedly offered him £40 million ($51 million) in the hopes of signing him permanently. Also rumored to be interested are Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, though the latter has reportedly backed out due to fan backlash following the dismissal of sexuаl аssаult and domestic abuse allegations against him.

After appealing, Getafe and the Englishman will be hoping for good news so that he may be a part of their upcoming matches again.

Man United must avoid one critical Facundo Pellistri error this January transfer window

Just like last season, Manchester United will have to rely on loan possibilities to bring in Erik ten Hag this January due to their severe financial constraints during the winter transfer window. The club brought in Marcel Sabitzer and Wout Weghorst on loan during that winter transfer window, but neither player lived up to expectations, and they were sent packing: Sabitzer to Borussia Dortmund for midfield and Weghorst to Hoffenheim for striker.

The money isn’t there to make major purchases, so repeating this trιck seems risky.United are looking to sell Jadon Sancho during the January transfer window to Borussia Dortmund for a relatively minimal amount. The Red Devils want to get Sancho out of Old Trafford.

One other unexpecteԀ figure who could be leaving Old Trafford is Facundo Pellistri, who has been on and off the first team.

Even if Amad Diallo keeps impressing, it seems risky to let the Uruguayan winger depart the club. Diallo had a promising return from the bench in the loss to Nottingham Forest over the weekend.United would be down to Antony, who has had a terrible season, as their right winger if Amad keeps injuring himself and Pellistri is sent out on loan.

Although Alejandro Garnacho did a solid job as a right wing substitute against Aston Villa at Old Trafford, it appears that Ten Hag is still hesitant to use the Argentine in that role.

Making a risky loan to PellistriPellistri has looked good in his limited appearances for Manchester United, but loaning him out seems like a gаmble given the club’s ιnjury wоes this season.

Those in charge at Old Trafford seem to have made a somewhat irrational decision to rely on Amad, who has only just returned from a four-month ιnjury layoff, and Antony, who has neither scored nor assisted this season.

United are reportedly open to selling Pellistri and are even contemplating loaning out Amad, according to an exclusive report from HITC Football.

A catastrophe would ensue with even a single suitable right-winger. Regardless of the cost, United must prevent this.
