Sevilla and Everton are in a bidding wαr to borrow Manchester United prodigy Hannibal Mejbri

Sevilla and Everton are vying for the loan of Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri.

Everton and United are Premier League rivals, and the Tunisian international had previously expressed a desire to join Sevilla after receiving United manager Erik ten Hag’s approval.

The 20-year-old is currently considering his options and has asked to be left off of Tunisia’s Africa Cup of Nations roster.

Mejbri, who is set to extend his contract with United by another season before a loan is decided, has also received interest from Lyon and Freiburg.

United first saw the midfielder in action in a 2-1 win over Wolves at Molineux in 2021, and he has been a part of the club ever since (2019).

Originally signed for £9.3 million from Monaco, Mejbri has 27 caps for the Tunisian national team. He joined United.

He has made ten appearances for United this season, scoring once—his first for the first team—in a 3-1 loss to Brighton at Old Trafford.

David Datro Fofana, a forward currently on loan at Chelsea, is another target for Sevilla.

The 21-year-old will be brought back from his loan at Union Berlin, where he spent the first part of the season, but his contract with Chelsea is slated to end in 2029.

Following his £8 million signing with Chelsea in 2022, Fofana made just four appearances for the club and was unable to establish a regular playing role.

In seventeen appearances for Union Berlin in all competitions, he has returned two goals.

United winger Facundo Pellistri is attracting interest from Villarreal, PSV Eindhoven, and Flamengo, while Borussia Dortmund is in talks to loan out-of-favour winger Jadon Sancho without an option to purchаse.
