United are preparing to make a move for Michael Olise, a winger for Crystal Palace, and are willing to include Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the deal.
In a move to lure Olise to Old Trafford, the Red Devils are reportedly planning to offer the full-back back to the Eagles. After signing Wan-Bissaka in 2019 from Palace, United decided not to let him leave for free at the end of the season, so they extended his contract by one year last summer.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, United’s new half owners, have made Olise, who is 22 years old, one of their top transfer targets. The club is planning to bring him to Old Trafford next summer in the hopes of reviving United’s offense in the upcoming transfer windows.
Nonetheless, United aren’t the only club interested in acquiring Olise’s services. According to Football Transfers, Liverpool is planning to bаttle Manchester United for the services of the Frenchman and may take action to activate the release clause in his contract, which is set to expire in the summer and is estimated to be worth £60 million ($76 million).
In their pursuit of a higher Premier League position, Erik ten Hag’s squad will most certainly explore additional avenues of strengthening their roster during the January transfer window. United have dropped to seventh position, nine points below the playoff qualifying mark.
