Amidst Swirling Breakup Rumors, Tom Holland Returns to Basics

Although Tom Holland is well-versed in the world of haute couture, at his core, he is simply a regular man who likes to wear heathered t-shirts and cotton joggers. Don’t we all, in our hearts?

Holland shopped at the fashionable athleisure brand Vuori in Los Angeles before heading to New York City for the Tribeca Film Festival. The brand has three billion views on TikTok and counting, so even celebrities like to be comfortable.

Wearing the simplest and slightly rumpled white t-shirt over black pants and sparkling black shoes, Holland seems like a man on a mission. Or perhaps he’s just searching for something simple, considering Zendaya and Holland’s relationship may be difficult at the moment.

Fans conjectured that there might be a problem between the couple on the same day when Holland went shopping for a new wardrobe of cozy clothes after Zendaya unfollowed him on Instagram. To be clear, though, Zendaya unfollowed everyone, so it’s possible that she’s simply tidying up her social media accounts in anticipation of Challengers, her newest film, which opens in theaters in April.

Even though Holland continues to follow her, many are nonetheless concerned about the state of their relationship.

One commenter, for example, said, “I wonder if it is more than just a movie publicity thing because neither of them has reacted to each other’s posts on Instagram since October.” Not really concrete evidence given it’s not like Holland nor Zendaya were ever terribly active on social media but, hey, there you have it.

Given how laid-back they seem as a celebrity couple, it seems improbable that Holland and Zendaya are divorcing.

In addition, unrelated but considering how stylish his partner is, Holland finds shopping at ultra-basic Vuori to be really pleasant.

To be clear, there is nothing wrong with the fundamentals.

Remember that a well-fitting t-shirt and sweatpants may be worth more than an expensive red carpet ensemble.

Okay, so it might not be totally fundamental: While a long sleeve crewneck shirt with a little side zipper pocket costs $110, Vuori running shorts start at $68. For the average person, this is a bit of a spend, but maybe not for Spider-Man.

n any case, back to Tom Holland. He’s keeping it cozy, that much is clear. We’re not sure if his stretchy athleisure is lessening the pain of heartbreak, though.

He will, however, always have an entire closet of workout attire.

Holland was probably simply buying for some easy travel attire because the day after the pictures of him shopping were shot, he was on his way to Manhattan for the aforementioned film festival.
