As Anthony Martial prepares to depart Ajax, Erik ten Hag targets yet another star

As Manchester United get ready for the summer transfer window, Erik ten Hag allegedly has his sights set on another Ajax talent.

After losing in the Champions League, the Red Devils’ boss has had a rough season thus far with his team sitting eighth in the Premier League.

Following Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s acquisition, United’s transfer business has received a lot of attention. The Mirror now reports that Ten Hag is reportedly monitoring 21-year-old Brian Brobbey, a striker for Ajax.

After the manager gave the striker his Ajax debut in 2020, they had worked together before. It has been reported that the Dutchman is interested in signing a forward in January, but due to the club’s financial situation, any acquisition will be on loan.

That means Brobbey won’t be able to move until the summer, if not later.Considering Anthony Martial’s contract is up for renewal this summer, this news is hardly surprising.

Manchester United have loaned out Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund till the end of the season, as was announced earlier today.

Dortmund fans will be ecstatic, but the Bundesliga club will not be able to permanently re-sign Sancho this summer after selling the 23-year-old to Manchester United for £73 million in 2021.

While playing in Germany for the first time, the Englishman became a true fan favorite. In 137 appearances for Ԁie Schwarzgelben, Sancho would score 50 goals and provide 60 assists after making his debut in October 2017 at the age of 17.
