Promised land: I was very impressed by Hannibal Mejbri’s performance in his La Liga debut for Sevilla

Last night, Sevilla’s Hannibal Mejbri made his La Liga debut. Mejbri formerly played for Manchester United.

Hannibal Mejbri’s loan transfer from Manchester United to Sevilla was finalized just under a week ago.

The international player from Tunisia is hoping to get more playing time with the first squad and may be able to persuade the Spanish club to sign him permanently.

Hannibal started four games for Manchester United in the first half of the season, scoring one. He also appeared five times as a substitute.

Hannibal Mejbri was sent off in the first minute of Sevilla’s debut. Hannibal came off the bench to help Sevilla beаt La Liga surprise package Girona, who are now in first place in the league.

Despite Sevilla’s early lead, Hannibal’s team was down 4-1 when he came on in the 62nd minute.

There was an immediate and negаtive impact from Hannibal. After only one minute on the field, he received a yellow card.

Hannibal, whose fiery disposition has gained as much notoriety as his skill on the ball, is perfectly on target here.

He was eager to show off and give his lagging team a figҺting chance, so he got a yellow card for a foul.

How the first Hannibal episode went

After giving up a late goal, Sevilla eventually lost 5-1. In Hannibal’s over thirty minutes on the field, Girona led 1-0.

He set up one scoring opportunity and completed 16 of his 19 passes. A brilliant cameo.

Over the course of 28 minutes, he received 25 touches, won two duels, drew one foul, and committed one himself.

This was a rough start to La Liga, and things won’t get any easier anytime soon. On Thursday, Sevilla will play host to Atletico Madrid.
