Man Utd will try to recruit Juventus defender in the summer, according to Di Marzio

ɾumоr has it that Manchester United will make a summer push to sign Juventus defender Gleison Bremer.

After an outstanding stint with their crosstown rivals Torino—during which he won the Serie A Defender of the Season Award—the Bianconeri signed the Brazilian in the summer of 2022.

Inter had the center back in their clutches, but the Old Lady stole him away from their bitter rivals at the last minute.

Bremer established himself as a rock in the back in his first season with the Allianz Stadium, but he fell short of the heights he achieved with the Granata.

However, the 26-year-old has been rock solid defensively this season, solidifying his position as one of, if not the best, defenders in Italian football.

Although Juventus made the right decision by signing him to a new long-term deal until 2028, the player’s recent achievements have apparently piqued attention from England.

Gianluca Di Marzio, an Italian journalist, has reported (via JuventusNews24) that Manchester United will be targeting Juventus with a transfer offer for Julian Bremer this summer.

On the International Transfer Show on Sky Sports, the transfer Guru claimed that Manchester United are interested in signing the Brazil international.

The defender has reportedly been under intense scrutiny by the Premier League giants for the past several months, according to Di Marzio.

The journalist, however, does not know if Juventus would accept a bid for their treasured possession.

Bremer has been an integral part of Max Allegri’s starting lineup this season, appearing in all 21 Serie A matches and scoring twice.

United optimistic that £30 million could bring in replacement for Antony

Manchester United are reportedly trying to recruit a winger from Sporting CP in order to strengthen their оffensive weaponry, according to FT. Given Antony’s lackluster performance this season, the news source went on to sаy that Ineos, the club’s new co-owners, see the 25-year-old as a possible replacement.

Whether it’s in the current transfer window or the summer, Manchester United supposedly have no problem signing £30 million-rated Marcus Edwards.

With 13 starts in the Primeira Liga this season, Marcus Edwards has scored four goals and assisted on four more, for a total of eight goals. Sporting CP are presently atop the Portuguese league standings, and he has contributed to their success with six goals and five assists in all competitions.

Brazilian winger Antony, who has been out since his £80 million summer 2022 departure, would be completely shocked if a £30 million trade were to go through.
