Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is once again attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
After being seen partying in a Belfast nightclub, the Red Devils are currently scolding the England international. The 26-year-old Rashford allegedly received a punishment equal to two weeks’ pay for his reckless outing.
Having said that, his latest transgression does not seem to
Luis Enrique’s team is reportedly renewing their pursuit of the United forward, as reported by the i daily. Considering Kylian Mbappe’s apparent departure from the club when his contract expires in the summer, the French giants may be actively seeking another left-sided forward.
Last summer, they made an effort to entice the United academy graduate to join them in Paris, but he opted to sign a new, highly lucrative contract at Old Trafford. Although a Rashford deal in the January transfer window is quite doubtful, they may rekindle their interest in the player before the season ends.
Over the past year, PSG have made sweeping roster changes. They signed fifteen players during the summer transfer window after losing Neymar and Lionel Messi.
They strengthened their оffensive lineup with the additions of Goncalo Ramos, Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, Hugo Ekitike, Marco Asensio, and Kang-in Lee. Because of their similarities in position and style of play, Rashford is being seriously evaluated as a possible substitute for Mbappe.
United are reportedly still reluctant to sell the forward, regardless of his recent behavior. In addition, Rashford is said to be content to stay put at the club he has played for since he was a young lad.
Last year, in 56 games across all competitions, Rashford scored 30 goals and set up 11 more, enjoying the finest season of his football career. However, he has had a disastrоus season thus far this campaign, with United being sunk in ninth place in the table, and he has only managed four goals and six assists in 26 games.
