Cristiano Ronaldo ruled out of friendly match vs Inter Miami, meaning he will not get to reunite with Messi

According to Al-Nassr coach Luis Castro, Cristiano Ronaldo’s ιnjury will prevent him from participating in the highly awaited reunion with Lionel Messi.

As of right now, Ronaldo is out with a calf ιnjury and will miss Thursday’s exhibition match in Riyadh between Al-Nassr and Inter Miami.

Before returning to the squad, Cristiano is nearing the end of his recovery. Within the next several days, he is expected to begin collaborating with the team. Speaking at a press conference, Castro explained that this would undoubtedly result in his absence from the match (against Inter Miami).

After long rivalries while playing for Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively, Messi and Ronaldo have won 13 of the past 15 Ballon d’Or prizes shared by the greatest player in the world.

Among Miami’s preseason activities, which included a pair of matches in Saudi Arabia, the most anticipated event was undoubtedly the newest instalment of that rivalry.

Unfortunately, Ronaldo’s ιnjury forced Al-Nassr to reschedule two exhibition matches in China earlier this month, casting doubt on that.

Miami lost 4-3 against Al-Hilal on Monday, with a goal from Messi.
