The final chapter of Spider-Man’s first trilogy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe opens up a whole new universe for the character in a well-known circumstance. Tony Stark’s support for the young hero is no longer present, nor is it that of his cherished Aunt May, who tragically passed away at the conclusion of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
To keep themselves excited for the franchise in the lack of any Spider-Man news from the MCU, fans have created their own content. One example of fan-generated content is the teaser for the upcoming Spider-Man film, which centers on Venom, one of the character’s most recognizable enemies.
A Venom version faces off against Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Home.
Fans have been admiring the trailer on the internet, which has Eddie Brock in a villainous role, facing off against Spidey-Man. But the teenage hero encounters Sony’s Venom Symbiote—or at least the portion of it that he left behind when Spider-Man opened a Multiverse breach.
A number of clips from earlier Spider-Man movies and video games are intercutted with scenes from Tom Hardy’s Venom appearance in the teaser. In the fan clip, Venom kicks Spider-Man out and he also makes his debut wearing his black outfit, which has been a staple of his appearances in nearly every version of the character.
According to the plot that the fan video appears to be hinting at, Venom would pursue Spider-Man after symbiotizing him. The fan trailer stated that Venom’s mission will be to recover a portion of the symbiote that is attached to Peter Parker.
It appears that the Spider-Man 4 fan trailer is introducing Sinister Six
In addition to Venom, the movie centers on Vulture and Scorpion, two more antagonists from the franchise. As seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Adrian Toomes, aka The Vulture, is in contact with Mac Gargan, the Scorpion, who is incarcerated. It’s logical to believe that the trailer was attempting to capitalize on the fact that Wilson Fisk, another street-level villain, was able to escape from prison with the help of the Blip.
Even though Zendaya’s MJ made a brief appearance in the trailer, Ned Leeds was conspicuously absent from all of the video. Spills may show us what Spider-Man 4 might truly look like because there have been rumors that the film will have a villain that hasn’t been given a live-action adaption.
Despite not being an official trailer, Spider-Man: New Home does satisfy many fans’ need for more Spider-man. It seems as though the characters would not be seen for a while because there are no references to Peter Parker whatsoever, not even in other products. Presumably, the character would prefer to make a brief cameo or partner up with another character before receiving a stand-alone sequel.
