Reports from J. Randy Taraborrelli suggest that the Hollywood power couple, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, went through a secret breakup following speculations about Jay-Z’s involvement with Rihanna. Despite the rumors being primarily a PR strategy to boost Rihanna’s public image, Beyoncé was uncertain about the authenticity of Jay-Z’s connection with the singer. Consequently, the couple decided to take a break and reflect on their relationship.

 

“Beyoncé didn’t know how to handle this, and they broke up for about a year, which was in 2005. She wasn’t sure about the situation between Jay-Z and Rihanna and how to deal with the singer. However, Beyoncé and Rihanna remained friends after the incident,” revealed J. Randy Taraborrelli during an Entertainment Tonight interview on October 22.

 

The journalist’s book also delves into the controversy between Beyoncé’s sister and Jay-Z in the elevator in 2014, which stirred public opinion and was also linked to Rihanna.
