Young Man Utd stars face increased pressure from Ten Hag

After a shaky start to the season, Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, and Kobbie Mainoo have given United a much-needed boost in the last few weeks.

Ten Hag’s squad has won two Premier League games (against Wolves and West Ham) and drawn one (against Tottenham), not to mention two FA Cup games (against Wigan and Newport).

United have scored 15 goals in that time, a barrage of scores that belies their dismal form so far this season.

Hojlund, a striker from Denmark, Garnacho, a winger from Argentina, and Mainoo, an English midfielder, have all been instrumental in United’s comeback, scoring eight of the team’s fifteen goals.

Last Sunday’s 3-0 win over West Ham captured the new atmosphere at Old Trafford with a photo of the three young players sitting on an advertising hoarding together, celebrating Garnacho’s first goal.

“Players need time,” United manager Ten Hag noted, referring in particular to young players such as Rasmus and Alejandro.

In addition, they lacked a team during the early portion of the season, so those two things were missing.

It became increasingly tоugh tо suppоrt the team’s оffensive effоrts as we had tо make numerоus alteratiоns tо оur playing style.

As we have seen, when that occurs, players can improve and progress quite rapidly.

“From the start I was confident they have the potential to do what they are now doing, and now it’s about keeping moving, keeping going, be hungry.”

Ten Hag spoke highly of the three young players’ contributions to United before Sunday’s match against Aston Villa, saying that they have revived a club that had been in a slump.

They seem to have fun when they play together. Excitement awaits. Be wary of them. They want to work as a unit and distribute the ball around so that each player can showcase their skills and contribute to the team’s success, he added.

We may enjoy it much more if they are willing to work together, which is the most important thing.

“They are young players and the future for Manchester United is quite bright with such talent on board, but you have to develop the talent.”

The capacity to win major trophies will eventually determine United’s fate, but Ten Hag is satisfied with the development of young talents like Hojlund, Garnacho, and Mainoo at a club that takes pride in that.

“There is a lot of space for improvement and that is necessary if you want to go to the top levels,” according to him.

This club has lofty goals—to win trophies—and the players must rise to the challenge by consistently delivering at a higher level.
