Rick Ross shows off his new $5 billion private jet

Rapper, entrepreneur, and music producer Rick Ross owns a $5 billion private plane.

Declaring that it was his first airplane but certainly not his last, Mr. Ross made the announcement of the purchase.

The Grammy-nominated artist says he spends a significant amount of his $55 million on cars and is an obsessive automobile enthusiast and collector.

At his own car exhibition, he recently displayed his entire collection—more than 100 vehicles—at his Atlanta house.

Rick Ross’s new plane is huge, with space for eighteen people.

It was meant to accommodate twenty people, but Ross had it changed to accommodate more.

The jet is also completely customized, featuring leather upholstery throughout and an extremely striking outside livery.

The black and gold silhouette and the word “Rick Ross” on the fuselage are noteworthy elements.

The jet in question is a 2012 Gulfstream G550 .

It was purchased by Wells Fargo, like the bank, before being bought by one of Rick Ross’ companies, called “Maybach Air”, in 2023.

The 47-year-old is a big fan of the Maybach car brand, and his record label Maybach Music Group is even named after the German automaker.

We’re not 100% sure what Rick Ross means when he talks about a “$5 billion jet.”

The price of a Gulfstream G550 ranges between $15 million and $40 million.
