There’s a reason why Zendaya and Tom Holland are the most popular pair on the internet. Over the years, the co-stars of Spider-Man have had a ton of adorable moments. They’ve been making the internet go crazy lately with their endearing interview shoutouts. Days after Zendaya praised Holland’s “rizz,” the actress brought up her boyfriend in a promotional video for Dune: Part Two.
Zendaya’s Obsession with Her Boyfriend Tom Holland
Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya’s co-star, and IGV Presents had a conversation about the movie on Monday, February 26. The interviewer asked the couple to select “one thing” from the UK that they would bring to the US. Naturally, Zendaya’s first thought was of her boyfriend from Britain, Tom Holland, with whom she has been romantically associated since 2016. Says she:
‘Yeah, my boyfriend. I would just take him with me.’
The star of Challengers chuckled at her reply. In the interview, Chalamet, who was seated directly next to Zendaya, seemed to be amused as well. In reaction to her remark, the Wonka actor grinned and said, “Yeah, that’s right!” as if approving of her relationship with Holland.
Zendaya had already acknowledged Holland once before when doing promotion for Dune: Part Two. In an interview with Buzzfeed on Thursday, February 22, the actress mentioned her well-known boyfriend by name. She was asked to select the member in her Dune: Part Two cast with the greatest “rizz.” Not Chalamet, Austin Butler, or Florence Pugh, but Holland—who doesn’t even appear in the movie—was Zendaya’s choice.
“I think someone who has beautiful charisma — not on the Dune cast — but works for me is Mr. Tom Holland.,” she says of someone who isn’t on the Dune cast.
Holland is “great” at striking up discussions with strangers, the singer clarified. She even claimed that his on-screen character mirrors his off-screen persona.
“You see him on talk shows and stuff like that; he’s just naturally very good at that.”
The couple’s relationship wasn’t formally verified until 2021, despite dating rumors surrounding them since 2016.
