There isn’t a single ‘Siuuu’ when Vinicius Jr. honors Cristiano Ronaldo with his famous goal celebration during Real Madrid’s Champions League victory

Portuguese sensation Cristiano Ronaldo is well-known for his celebratory leaps into the air, spins around, and lets out a loud yell when he is happy. Due to its increasing popularity, this routine is no longer just performed at football games; NFL, NBA, and rugby players have all joined in on the fun.

Vinicius has occasionally put on the “Siuuuu” show. Vinicius currently wears the fabled No. 7 shirt at Santiago Bernabeu, which was formerly worn by Ronaldo with such distinction. He does know, though, that CR7 has more victories in his archive.

In light of this, and after scoring for Real in the second leg of their Champions League semifinal match against RB Leipzig, the Brazil international began mimicking another of Ronaldo’s well-known routines, which involves him perching atop advertising hoardings.

Wayne Rooney is Amad Diallo’s all-time favorite player

Wayne Rooney, the club’s record goal scorer, is Amad Diallo’s all-time favorite Manchester United player.

During a fan Q&A, Diallo, 21, answered several questions about himself and his club, both past and present. The Ivorian took a minute to consider his “favourite all-time Red” before deciding on Rooney when asked.

“My choice is Rooney. He was my greatest player because he was extremely strong and had excellent goal vision, Diallo said.

Rооney’s eye fоr а gоаl wоuld be cоnfirmed by his 253 gоаls in 559 gаmes fоr United, аnd his physicаlity аnd mentаl tоughness оn the field were key cоmpоnents оf his success thrоughоut his cаreer.

For a player who was much more than just a striker, the fact that he was able to provide 146 assists as well—producing a goal contribution every 1.4 games—is an incredible rate of consistency.

Rooney was nearly a forward, winger, and midfielder all rolled into one because to his relentless work ethic and great desire to impact the game both with and without the ball.

Occasionally, Sir Alex Ferguson had to stifle the Englishman’s passion for the game and instead advise him to exercise patience and stick to the center of the field when used as a striker.

Rooney would instinctively drop deeper in an attempt to find the ball and become as engaged as possible if he didn’t receive this order.

After Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez left the team, Rooney spent his debut season at Old Trafford (2009–10) as a traditional number nine and scored 34 goals. He had been more of a number ten the previous years, the ideal counterbalance to his Argentine and Portuguese teammates.

Rooney played a crucial role during one of United’s most prosperous eras. He won five Premier League crowns, four League Cups, four Community Shields, one FA Cup, one Europa League, and one Champions League throughout his time at Old Trafford.

In addition to being the club’s all-time leading scorer, he also holds the second-place position in the list of assists received, ranks sixth in terms of appearances made, and led the team for three seasons as captain.

To put it briefly, a legend and a worthy choice for Diallo.

Given the Ivorian’s right-wing position and the caliber of players who came before him at the club, such as David Beckham and, of course, his old friend Ronaldo, it might come as a surprise.

Rooney is a boisterous juggernaut, and Diallo is quite the opposite with his little height and somewhat understated manner of play. However, the proverbial “opposites attract” holds true.
