After sending the ball into his own net, Todibo was responsible for Montpellier’s first goal. At the end of the match, he got into a heated altercation with Nice supporters inside the Allianz Riviera, which led to a riot.Given that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is the owner of Nice and a new investor in United, the France international has been constantly linked to a summer transfer to Old Trafford. However, he was told to quit the club by enraged supporters.

Neater supporters vented their annoyance at full-time by singing a song that advised the 24-year-old to quit the team if he wasn’t satisfied. The player, who has been linked to both Chelsea and United, previously expressed interest in leaving the team by saying in February that he would wait until the summer to make a choice. We’re not there yet, but if I decide to stay, I’ll let everyone know and thank them. If I decide to go, I’ll do the same.

In response, Todibo first stormed over to the group of fans shielded by a metal barrier and got into a heated argument with the enraged crowd. The defender clashed with his teammates, pointed at people in the crowd, and expressed his fury during the more than minute-long altercation.

Todibo kept pushing past kind players, such as Dante, the former champion of the Champions League, who attempted to stop him.

When several fans in the stand tried to approach the player by jumping down onto the lower concrete level, the fans refused to settle.

Todibo was predicted to join the English Premier League last season, and with Ratcliffe’s recent investment in the English powerhouses, a move to Manchester United would now be more feasible.

The 24-year-old is having the best season in France since joining the team from Barcelona three years ago, and he has been instrumental in helping the team keep 12 league clean sheets this year with outstanding defensive plays.
