The Reds have a plethora of young talent in the infield.

One of Major League Baseball’s most packed infield rotations is that of the Cincinnati Reds.
Many have questioned what David Bell, the manager, will do with the abundance of talented infield players on the team.
The strategy for Elly De La Cruz, Matt McLain, and Jonathan India is as follows:
During spring training, De La Cruz will spend most of his time at shortstop. The gifted second-year player had an outstanding debut campaign.
After a strong rookie season, De La Cruz has been labeled as a player to watch out for in his second season. After that, he should make significant progress for Cincinnati.
Entering his second season in the major leagues, McLain is another gifted infielder.
He was undoubtedly the most reliable rookie for the Reds and also their most outstanding. Called a “Firecracker” by his teammates, he is anticipated to have a tremendous pop in the field as well as at the plate.
McLain will play second base while De La Cruz plays shortstop. Though most of his time is expected to be spent at second base, he may see some action at shortstop.
How about the Indian subcontinent? He just agreed to a two-year extension of his contract. Is he going to be a daily DH? Is he going to be an outfield player?
This season, India is anticipated to line up everywhere. He will likely play DH, infield, and outfield. They obviously have ambitions for the former National League Rookie of the Year, who will want to add more versatility to the lineup.
