The 26-year-old actress posted a slew of pictures of her off-screen lover and co-star from Spider-Man on her Instagram Story on Thursday, embellishing them with a bunch of heart-shaped emojis.

Holland appeared to be grinning broadly in a picture that was taken of him standing on a cliff with a broad view of the ocean. Another photo showed Holland swimming in the water while forming the shape of a heart with his hands.

The star of Euphoria, who won an Emmy, returned the affection by matching the pictures with the red heart and heart-eyed emojis, respectively.

The birthday boy shared a picture of himself wearing a helmet and blue boardshorts on social media, gushing about his big day.

In the description accompanying the post, he took the time to express his gratitude to his friends and fans “for all the wonderful birthday messages” and joked that the image was “possibly the most attractive picture” of him that had ever been shot. He then concluded the remark with the hashtag.”

Zendaya stepped right into the comment area, writing “😍.”

Previously, a source revealed to PEOPLE that Zendaya and Holland “started seeing each other” during the 2016 production of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the pair’s first joint film in the Marvel trilogy.”They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another,” a source told me at the time.

In November 2021, Holland discussed their desire to keep their relationship a secret in an interview with GQ.

I’ve always been quite particular about keeping my personal affairs private because I already divulge a great deal about my life to the public. We felt as though our privacy had been violated,” he said. It’s not about not being ready, in my opinion. Simply put, we were unwilling to.”

“The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, there are moments or things you wish were your own,” Zendaya said in an interview with the site, echoing Holland. I believe that, for the two individuals who love each other, loving someone is a precious and unique experience that you should cope with, go through, and enjoy.”

The news that a fourth Spider-Man movie starring the couple is still in development brought the couple to national attention towards the end of last month. But the ongoing writer’s strike has put a stop to the project’s progress, producer Amy Pascal confirmed in a Variety interview.

“Will we produce another film? We are, of course,” Pascal said to the publication. “We are in the process, but nobody is working because of the writers’ strike. We’re all supporting each other, and we’ll start as soon as they gather themselves.”
