Serena Williams has launched a bold and empowering fashion collection aimed at empowering women of all backgrounds. “I draw inspiration from pop culture and creativity, aiming to make a statement of power,” shared Williams exclusively with PEOPLE during her recent S by Serena shoot in Miami.

“I strive to stand out, to be seen and heard, and that ethos drives my design inspiration.” The S by Serena line showcases a fearless combination of body-positive attire, including dresses, jackets, jumpsuits, tops, bottoms, and trench coats. Some pieces feature eye-catching sequin embellishments and daring animal prints, embodying Williams’ commitment to bold and confident fashion choices.

“I blend both trends and timeless styles in my personal fashion choices,” the tennis champion explains when discussing her design aesthetic. “I merge contemporary elements with classic silhouettes, creating a fusion of the latest trends with enduring elegance.”

During her recent two-day photoshoot, the athlete produced numerous videos showcasing her S by Serena designs, which will be shared directly with her fan base through her social media channels.

In addition to styling herself, the star also curated looks for 10 of her nearest and dearest friends and family members, including her delightful 2-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., who eagerly participated by creating some crayon drawings on set. “I aspire to create a line of baby clothing inspired by my daughter,” Williams expresses. “She accompanies me everywhere, and I look forward to expanding my family in the future.”
