Venus Williams has splurged on a $10M ‘retirement home’ in Jupiter Island, Florida which includes a two-bedroom private cottage for sister Serena and her family

Venus Williams has invested nearly $10 million in a secluded waterfront residence described as a “retirement home,” featuring its own beach and a private cottage for her sister Serena. Located in the exclusive Jupiter Island, Florida, the expansive resort-style estate comprises a main three-bedroom house and two guesthouses, nestled amidst lush tropical gardens with stunning ocean vistas.

While equipped with luxurious amenities such as a pool, outdoor kitchen, and bar, the opulent property notably lacks a tennis court, a departure from the five-time Wimbledon champion’s previous residence in nearby Palm Beach Gardens. Despite currently holding the 35th rank globally, Venus has downplayed retirement rumors, although friends suggest that at 38 years old, she may be contemplating her post-tennis future.

The proud auntie expects Serena, her husband Alexis Ohanian and their baby daughter Alexis Olympia to be regular guests, with the couple getting to choose between the one-bed guesthouse or roomier two-bedroom private cottage.

They won’t have far to walk to reach the beach either, with the one-acre garden stretching 312 feet before a short path leads directly on to pristine white sands.

The home also comes with a pool, but unlike the five-time Wimbledon champion's previous property in nearby Palm Beach Gardens, it doesn't have a tennis court

The entire property, decked out with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and a nautically themed décor, totals 25 rooms and 10,000 square feet.

Property records show Venus managed to knock more than a million dollars off the original $10.9 million asking price before closing for $9.6 million in January.

Her old house, the seven-bed Palm Beach Gardens mansion she jointly bought for $525,000 with Serena back in 1998 has been on the market for $2.7 million since December.

Sisters: It seems Venus also purchased the home with her sister Serena in mind, as the massive property even includes a one-bed guesthouse or roomier two-bed private cottage for when her younger sibling comes to visit

With an open, air space, and lots of natural light, the home resembles a vacation getaway or an exclusive beach resort
