Tom Holland and Zendaya Mesmerized by Mumbai’s Skyline, Cricket, and the Enchanting Sea

Hollywood’s love interests —American singer-actress Zendaya and her boyfriend, British actor Tom Holland, who happens to be our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, arrived in Bombay early on Friday morning. Everyone was curious to learn more about the couple and their ambitions for the city amid rumors of an engagement.

The pair, who were staying at a five-star hotel in south Mumbai, left for a leisurely boat ride on Saturday afternoon.A few admirers did manage to catch them as they hurried back into their car after the boat excursion, even though they were successful in clandestinely smuggling themselves onto a speedboat (transfer boat) that transported them from the Gateway of India to the yacht via an exclusive private entry.

Meherzad Kajanwalla, co-owner of “Blue Bay Marine,” a luxury yacht rental firm, and Gautam Bhatia, who escorted the couple on their Arabian Sea cruise, were contacted by Bombay Times. Given the couple’s privacy, Meherzad elaborated on how everything came together, saying, “We got a booking on Friday evening for Saturday noon from an event management company.” At first, we assumed the reservation belonged to a Bollywood star. We found out later that night that it was for Zendaya and Tom Holland. That took a while to really set in. On Saturday, they were expected at the yacht at noon, but due to security procedures, they arrived at 12.45 pm instead. Having been in the business for the past 15 years, we are the forerunners of yacht charter in the city. When we learned that we would be giving Tom and Zendaya an hour-long sea trip, we were ecstatic.

“When they arrived, there was no large entourage or starry tantrums,” he continues. It was around eight or ten people. There was only soft drinks and water available. Being modest, Tom and Zendaya even went so far as to record a video for their fanatical guide’s kid. At our request, they even posed for a photo with us. They were eager to take in the sights and sounds of the city and excellent listeners. Even though it was very sunny, the hour-long tour was made possible by the lovely breeze that always exists at sea. They observed the skyline of Mumbai, the harbor, Sassoon Dock, and the architectural wonders of the Taj Mahal Palace and the Gateway of India.

They paid close attention as the guide discussed the history of Mumbai, the Maratha Empire, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the reason behind the Victorian names of notable structures being changed, and other topics. They talked about Indian food with fondness.

We also heard that Indian cricket greatly intrigued Holland. Meherzad concurred and continued, saying, “Tom, who has a very gentle voice, was curious about the Indian cricket scene, including the number of clubs, the IPL, and the national squad. Tom questioned with curiosity, “Isn’t cricket the main sport in India?” They didn’t even glance at their phones during the entire experience. The two also mentioned how much they like chopping chai.

In relation to not having a phone, Holland declared last year that she would be stepping away from social media. He stated in a video, “I find Instagram and Twitter to be overstimulating, overwhelming, so I have taken a break from social media for my mental health.” “When I read things about myself online, I become engrossed and spiral. And in the end, it’s really bad for my mental health. The actor is back on Instagram, albeit with less posts.
