Serena wore custom-designed NikeCourt Flare 2 sports shoes, made by her in collaboration with Nike. Diamonds are embedded on the signature Swoosh mark on the side of the shoe and motifs on the heel. The competition outfit, inspired by figure skaters’ skirts, includes six layers to honor Serena Williams ‘ six titles at Flushing Meadows . The body of the shirt is decorated with many crystals inspired by the starry sky – the night the match took place. The outfit comes with a matching jacket and tote bag.

The US Open is Serena Williams’ last tournament before she retires to spend time with her family and business career. The tournament was also the first place where Serena won the Grand Slam in 1999.
