Rihanna has confessed that her previous penchant for ultra-raunchy outfits is what she considers her biggest fashion blunder. The 36-year-old singer, who shares sons RZA (23 months) and Riot (eight months) with fellow artist A$AP Rocky (35), made this revelation during an interview with British Vogue at the launch event for a new shoe collaboration between her Fenty clothing line and Puma.

When asked by the publication to identify her most significant “fashion faux pas,” Rihanna candidly responded, “I did so much nonsense in my life. I had my nipples out, I had my panties out. But now those are the things, I guess, as a mom, as an evolved young lady… it’s just things that I just feel like I would never do. And I’m just like, ‘Oh my god, I really did that? Nips out?'”

Despite acknowledging her past fashion choices, Rihanna has since altered her approach to dressing, particularly since becoming a mother. However, she notably showcased her baby bump in revealing outfits for social media photos during her pregnancies. In February 2022, she flaunted her pregnancy in a flesh-flashing Jean Paul Gaultier lace-up cardigan while out in Los Angeles. The following month, she sported lingerie, including a tiny Savage X Fenty thong, at the Dior Fall 2022 show during Paris Fashion Week. Reflecting on her outfit choices at the time, Rihanna commented to Vogue, “To me, that dress is actually the closest thing to maternity clothes that I’ve worn so far.”

During her first pregnancy, Rihanna expressed her desire to use her form-fitting outfits to challenge societal norms regarding what is considered appropriate attire for pregnant women. She shared with the publication that she hoped her bump-hugging ensembles would contribute to “redefining what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women.”

Rihanna emphasized, “My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”

In a recent discussion about fashion, Rihanna revealed that her top parenting “hack” involves dressing her sons to resemble their rapper father. She explained to Entertainment Tonight, “When I dress them, I always try to dress them like Rocky.”

She remarked, “We all do as women, like, ‘Oh, I’m going to dress her in these cute little things.’ But then you get sons and you’re like, ‘What do I do?’ I was like, ‘You know what, I have the biggest hack – their dad.'”
