There is no doubt Zendaya is a style chameleon. Bolstered by the ingenuity of her longtime stylist, Law Roach, the 27-year-old actor has dominated red carpets with her ability to embody an idea, an essence, or a character simply through the power of her clothes.
This has been the case for her last two press tours, on which she promoted her latest films, Dune: Part Two and Challengers, a sexy dramedy about a trio of tennis pros. As she continues the promotional run for Challengers, Zendaya showed out today en route to Good Morning America’s New York City studios in two very different outfits.
The first involved a pretty floral midi dress, a custom-made Erdem piece reminiscent of 1950s-era tea dresses. This one featured a print of faded yellow roses thronged by green leaves all over, with a bright grassy-green ribbon pattern painted over it. While the dress may have channeled the classic silhouette of the ’50s, it exhibited a few more modern details, from the raw hemline to the ruffles of white tulle peeking out below.
She completed the look with white Christian Louboutin pumps and diamond Bulgari jewelry.

Later, Zendaya emerged from the studios in a separate outfit: a lime-green skirt suit fit for the boardroom. The set included a lapel-less wrap blazer, with the plunging V neckline pinned together by a sparkling silver arrow-shaped brooch. As for her shoes, she opted for a monochromatic moment by wearing matching neon-green stilettos.

Both looks are certainly a departure from Zendaya’s more casual ensemble from earlier this morning. Paparazzi snapped photos of the star walking around the city in a long gray coat, black wide-leg trousers, and baggy T-shirt that read in big block font, “I told ya.” Still, she added some signature Zendaya flair to the off-duty look with her choice of trendy footwear: a pair of white see-through mesh ballet flats.
