Tuesday night at Great American Ball Park, before the Reds’ game versus the Philadelphia Phillies, there was a Cincinnati sports crossover.

Miles Robinson, a 2024 addition to the club and a star for FC Cincinnati, ceremoniously gave Reds pitcher Hunter Greene his first pitch on Tuesday.

With the exception of six games for the USL’s Charleston Battery, Robinson played his whole professional career with Atlanta United before signing with FC Cincinnati in January.

The native of Massachusetts, who joined the USMNT in 2019, gave the team the lead in the 1-0 CONCACAF Gold Cup victory over Mexico.

Robinson has started eight of the Orange and Blue’s first nine MLS games this season, but he has only managed one goal.
