An Australian influencer recently shared a touching encounter she had with Rihanna at the superstar’s Fenty Beauty event. Indy Clinton posted a video on TikTok capturing the heartwarming moment when Rihanna, aged 36, expressed her admiration for her at the launch party for Fenty Beauty’s Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation in Los Angeles. The charming interaction saw Rihanna praising Indy, a devoted mother of three infant children – Navy, aged three, Bambi, aged one, and Soul, aged four months.
Rihanna, who has sons RZA, aged 23 months, and Riot Rose, aged eight months, with A$AP Rocky, expressed admiration for Indy upon discovering that she has three children all under the age of three.
“Three under three?! I feel overwhelmed with just two under two,” remarked the American singer as they posed for a photograph together.
TikTok sensation Indy then informed Rihanna that she had left her three children in Sydney with her husband Ben Azar to attend the Fenty Beauty event.
Rihanna was impressed by the influencer’s glamorous appearance and commended her for effortlessly handling her responsibilities, remarking, “You’re making this look easy. How do you look like that? What the heck? Stop embodying everything I admire about you! So proud of you.”
In a touching moment, Rihanna took Indy’s hand and proudly exclaimed to those nearby, “She’s got three children under three, look at her!”
“You’re a total boss,” Rihanna added to Indy in the heartwarming exchange.
Indy welcomed her third child, a daughter named Soul Valerie, on December 18, and recently shared that she currently has no immediate plans for another pregnancy, although she hasn’t ruled out the possibility of having a fourth child in the future.
At the Fenty Beauty launch event, Rihanna candidly discussed her own journey of motherhood, particularly the joys of raising boys. The “Umbrella” singer expressed her fondness for being outnumbered by sons in her household, describing it as empowering.
“It makes me feel really cool to be a ‘boy mom’,” she shared with E! News. “I get to be as relaxed and laid-back as I want to be, but it also encourages me to embrace the extraordinary aspects of being a woman and all my femininity—I embrace it even more now.”
Rihanna also disclosed that motherhood has had a profound impact on her professional life, making her a more astute businesswoman and prompting her to prioritize her time more consciously.
“They bring purpose to every facet of my life,” she reflected on her two children. “Every decision must be intentional, and every moment must be meaningful—especially when it takes me away from them.”
Earlier this month, the singer behind “Diamonds” revealed in an interview with Interview magazine that she is considering expanding her family, just eight months after giving birth to her second son.
When questioned about the number of children she desires, the pop sensation enthusiastically expressed her openness to having “as many as God wants” her to have.
“I would be willing to have more than two,” the star disclosed. “I would aim for a daughter. However, if I end up with another son, that would be just as wonderful.”
Rihanna welcomed her first child, RZA Athelston Mayers, on May 13, 2022, and surprised the world nine months later by announcing her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl halftime performance. She joyfully welcomed Riot Rose in August 2023.
