Drake took aim at ASAP Rocky in his latest diss track “Family Matters.”

Some listeners speculate whether Drake’s ongoing sentiments toward Rihanna still linger, evident in his latest diss track “Family Matters,” aimed at Kendrick Lamar, which also includes some pointed lines directed at ASAP Rocky.

Rocky’s most recent jab at Drake came on the track “Show of Hands,” featuring Metro Boomin and Future, where he indirectly referenced Drake’s emotions regarding romantic relationships with lines like, what, you hurt or somethin’?”

In “Show of Hands,” Rocky also claimed to have had a romantic encounter with Sophie Brussaux, the mother of Drake’s son. Drake addresses this insinuation in “Family Matters,” hinting that he was involved with Rihanna during that time.

In the same verse, Drake confronts the idea of Rocky fathering two children with Rihanna. The couple, who began dating in 2020, share two sons: RZA, who will be turning 2 this month, and 8-month-old Riot Rose.

Following the release of “Family Matters,” speculation arose on social media platform X, with multiple users suggesting that Drake’s emotions may stem from alleged issues with Rihanna. The artists reportedly had an on-and-off relationship from 2009 to 2016, during which they collaborated on songs such as “Take Care,” “What’s My Name?” and “Work,” the latter of which Drake has since declared he will no longer perform live.
