‘Not the gumdrop buttons!’ Reds, Jim Day admire Elly De La Cruz’s sliding gloves

Cincinnati Reds infielder Elly De La Cruz, who leads Significant Association Baseball with 37 taken bases this season, is wearing sliding gloves that have turned into the subject of online entertainment discussion among fans.

“He transforms them consistently. It’s from an organization called Totally Ludicrous,” Bally Games Ohio’s Jim Day said during the fourth inning of Sunday’s transmission. “Presently yesterday was my #1. … Yesterday was the gingerbread man. I’m really not certain what (the present) is. That is another one. He burns them through, and that one’s totally unique. He’s had the gingerbread man. The Detestable Snowman. Two of my absolutely favorites.”
