Fans at their first Cincinnati Reds game meet Rece Hinds with grand slam ball

Two young Cincinnati Reds fans have some pretty great souvenirs from their first game after coming up with the ball rookie Rece Hinds hit Friday night for his first career grand slam.

Hinds met four fans after the Reds’ 7-4 win against the Miami Marlins. He signed a ball for each of the children, in addition to first base from Friday’s game.

“First game? For both you guys?” Hinds asked the kids.

“Yep,” both answered.

Hinds then posed for a photo with the fans.
