During the Real Madrid presentation ceremony , Endrick burst into tears while speaking. Below, the father of the player born in 2006 also shed tears.

“My family had nothing to eat. Endrick said he would become a professional player to support the family. His dream has come true,” said Mr. Douglas Ramos.

“Thank you all. Honestly, I still can’t believe I’m playing for Real Madrid. It’s hard to contain my emotions at this moment. My dream has come true. I don’t know what words to use to describe my feelings right now. Come on, let’s shout together, Hala Madrid,” Endrick said.

The Brazilian star’s unveiling ceremony was also attended by President Florentino Perez. The head of the Bernabeu team said: “I believe that talented players from Brazil will succeed at Real Madrid, just like Rodrygo and Vinicius did. Welcome Endrick to your second home.”

According to FIFA regulations, Endrick has the right to sign a contract with Real Madrid even though he is underage, but the player can only officially play for the reigning European champions when he turns 18.

Real Madrid successfully recruited Endrick in December 2022, when the player was only 16 years old. This “harvesting young rice” tactic was applied by Real with Vinicius Junior and brought success.
