Davies is one of the Bundesliga team’s most dependable players. He played for them in 42 games this season, scoring twice and dishing out six assists. According to statistics from whoscored, he averaged 1.5 tackles, 0.8 interceptions, and 1.1 clearances per game.

The Canadian international moves quickly and has a powerful build. As a defender, he is difficult to match up with one-on-one. It’s interesting to note that he can also dribble well, and with precise critical passes, he can generate opportunities for his teammates in the closing minutes.

A wise choice, yet unlikely to happenChelsea was becoming better, but they were still a long way from competing for the major awards. They therefore need to strengthen their group in order to have a better season. They ought to bring in seasoned performers for that, people who can make an immediate difference in the team’s performances.

Alphonso Davies’ signing would be quite significant in that regard. He is among the greatest in the world at his profession and has a lot of experience. His inventiveness further up the field will also contribute to the team’s overall goal total.

To get him, though, the Blues will need to defeat Real Madrid. They have to put a tantalizing deal on the table in exchange for it. The only obstacle they may face is the lack of a Champions League berth for the upcoming campaign.
