Regretfully, some people on the internet have interpreted this to suggest that our Academy alumnus was making fun of our previous German tactician; nevertheless, the man in question has thoroughly refuted this theory.

According to Jones, Redmen TV, “the principles are always the same; we want to work hard, press, and dominate teams.”

That’s what I believe came out a little bit incorrect, [which is why] I’d like to clarify now that I’ve seen things that suggested I may have come across as somewhat rude. Jurgen is aware that I’d never be that young person. He is aware of my affection for him and his entire crew.

All I was suggesting was that there will be a slight shift in my style of play moving forward. He has given me the confidence and platform to know that I’m more than just a young squad guyโ€”I’m a child who can step up and contribute to the team. I can truly be counted on.”

Redmen TV deserves praise for providing Jones with the chance to address all of this!

Curtis Jones clarifies Jurgen Klopp comments after huge praise for new Liverpool boss Arne Slot - Liverpool.com

The ยฃ45 million Liverpool player that impressed Arne Slot during the Arsenal friendly was “smart and intelligent.”

Liverpool defeated Arsenal in Philadelphia to record a second victory of their US tour.

With Arne Slot in charge of the team, it appeared to be a challenging match for the Reds.

Liverpool, however, managed to stave off a formidable-looking Arsenal squad and triumph 2-1 over the Premier League’s runners-up.

Throughout the game, there were several highlights, but Jarell Quansah’s outstanding defense in particular left fans in awe.

But Quansah wasn’t the only one who impressed, and after the game, head coach Slot was eager to provide further compliments.Diogo Jota exhibit is praised by Arne Slot.Following Liverpool’s victory over Real Betis on Saturday, the two players that were used as a sort of false nine were Dominik Szoboszlai and Harvey Elliott.

When Slot first unveiled the system, he said that it would appear differently when Liverpool acquired a legitimate striker to cover one of the holes. The Dutchman had his first opportunity to put that into action on Thursday morning when Slot had access to Diogo Jota for the first time.

As promised, the boss stuck Jota through the middle, Elliott behind him, and Szoboszlai even deeper.

It went well, with Jota demonstrating his characteristic persistence to assist Liverpool score the first goal. The 27-year-old may have scored once or twice, but when asked if Jota made a difference in his post-match press conference, Slot was certain that he did.

“Yes, he did,” the 45-year-old said in response. “Having someone who plays that position naturally, in my opinion, helps. Having a savvy and intelligent striker who knows when to make deep runs and when to hold the ball is beneficial, even though Arsenal was playing man-versus-man the entire time.

“I believe it was him who deflected the ball in Harvey’s direction so Harvey could assist Mo,” Slot continued.

“Having someone accustomed to this role is beneficial, particularly when facing a team that plays man-versus-man the entire time.”

Diogo Jota auditions Arne SlotIt becomes clear that Slot will prefer to play with one more conventional striker and one more advanced midfielder positioned next to him.

After Thursday’s match, Arteta gave Slot’s strategy high marks, and you have to admit that it’s easy to see his blueprint on the field.

If so, Jota will probably have to compete with Darwin Nunez, particularly for that intermediate position. Nunez is still absent, therefore Diogo has presented his case.

Nunez is considered a crucial player by Slot, so it’s likely that the head coach intends to employ the Uruguayan as much as possible. Having Jota available, though, is always a good thing.

The ยฃ45 million player will have opportunities this season given the number of games that must be played. Even though he didn’t find the net this time against his preferred opponent, he is at least off to a good start under Slot.
