Kobbie Mainoo unveiled his new hairstyle ahead of the Manchester United 2024–25 season.
The talented midfield player, who lost to Spain in the Euro 2024 final, is getting ready for this year’s competition.
Before returning to Manchester United, Kobbie Mainoo flaunts a brand-new haircut. NEW LOOK, NEW MISSION
The 19-year-old was one of the most impressive performers, despite early criticism of the Three Lions.
Last season, he had a breakthrough campaign at Old Trafford, becoming a regular under Erik ten Hag and winning his stripes with the Three Lions in front of the European Championship.
Now, in an attempt to flaunt his sleek new haircut before the season starts, he has turned to social media.
In the championship match, Spain overcame England 2-1, but the midfielder was unable to have an effect.
Finally, he has unveiled his new hairdo for the 2024–25 Premier League season.
Graeme Souness chastised Mainoo earlier this week for “not understanding his position” after England’s 2-1 loss to Spain on Sunday.
Although Mainoo started the competition as a replacement, he was good enough to start each of the four knockout games. In the past, Declan Rice, Conor Gallagher, and Trent Alexander-Arnold were tested out by Gareth Southgate in the midfield.
The teenager qualified for the final after earning just eight caps for his nation and proving to be one of England’s best players against Slovakia, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
Mainoo found it difficult to have an impact on the Berlin final and was replaced halfway through the second half by substitute Cole Palmer. Palmer brilliantly equalized Nico Williams’ goal with a shot from outside the area before Mikel Oyarzabal gave Spain a devastating 86th-minute winner.
Mainoo is “very talented on the ball,” Souness acknowledged, but he also blasted the young player for his “naivety” in an England shirt, saying he “wanders” too far from his midfield position.
‘I think he’s really gifted and skilled with the ball,’ Souness stated on the Up Front talk show.
However, he is not really aware of the circumstances. He strayes and covers the middle of the field far too soon.
“I saw him get thrown to the left and right against Iceland (in England’s last warm-up match for Euro 2024).
When he entered the game as a substitute with England ahead 1-0 against Serbia in their opening Euro 2024 encounter, he pursued and exerted pressure on the goalie right away. He’s still learning the game, therefore it’s naive.
