Order accepted, even though I tried to space the characters so it read “M E S S I”; however, Real Madrid observed the order and rejected it. Therefore, there isn’t a way around that and Messi supporters can’t buy a Real Madrid shirt with his name on it.

Real Madrid is doing well by holding their ground, which is a positive thing in many respects. A Real Madrid jersey with a legend from Barcelona would be an outright joke, and as a team that respects itself greatly, they are in the ideal position to forbid the printing of such a jersey.

Not that fans can’t appreciate the hustle, though. It’s not surprising that Barcelona supporters, who don’t have much going for them right now, are using history as a justification to make fun of Real Madrid supporters, who lead luxurious lives.
